The ourHRpeople franchise was founded in 2019 to assist senior HR Specialists to transition from being employed to a business offering HR consulting. To date, ourHRpeople have two Director-level franchisees who have joined us, with one more starting in January 2022.
Our unique approach is the extensive mentoring we undertake to ensure a successful transition to business owner. Our Onboarding phase lasts around three months (depending on individual needs) – and it needs to, there is much to learn and put in practice: proposals, pricing, approach, types of client, business development, SME v Corporate market, consulting skill, tools and much, much more. Each franchisee has a nominated Director with whom the majority of mentoring is undertaken, with the remainder of the input being specialist topic leads.
ourHRpeople as a business, is the polar opposite of the ‘four days training and then you’re on your own..’ approach. The mentoring we undertake is really appreciated by our franchisees and one of the main reasons they decided to take the leap from the security of a monthly salary. Our Directors, in turn, also gain from the interaction.
